these 4 pics are in switzerland, too bad that my phone is poor quality because if we stopped you would have seen the water glitzing from the sun it looked so pretty!

i will look at bf's phone now to see if he took any more pics

Great Fran!!!! Your ring looks lovely!
I can see in the last photo how pretty it must have been to see the lovely sunrise/sunset reflected on the water

Lovely scenery and a beautiful ring Fran.

It was probably the right size because your fingers swell a little in the heat. If it remains to big it is possible to get it resized.

Well he is really shy in that way, and usually he comes out of nowhere with little nice things.
We were walking up the main road in Alcamo to get to the travel agency to get a rental car and on the way the first store was the pharmacy to get cream for my allergy, then we walked and saw a jewlers and he stopped and walked in at first it was because he saw watches but then he asked for engagement rings they only had 3 different tipes and these were the only nice ones that fitted us both..
then i got this pretty diamond one, but we put them in a box and didnt wear them.. that was on friday, between friday and sunday he had asked about 4 times but we didnt put the rings on because in the restaurants he was really embarrased to make a big scene, so in the car he asked again and i said yes and then we put the rings on and kissed.

As for the wedding we havent planned anything, but i am determined to have a nice sparkly dress I want to do it the traditional way with a church, but he wants to do it at the registry office, so we have to come up with something totally different. and we plan to wait atleast 2 years... of course unless he comes out of nowhere to get married... i realised he doesnt like set dates lol!

fwan, if you marry Ben in Germany, you have to do it at the registry office in order for it to be a legal marriage - a church wedding isn't legal without the ceremony at the registrar's office. It's the civil ceremony that is recognized.
