Mother Cat eats Kittens !!???!

hey there... I heard this info from my friend and i was in doubt so I thought somebody might help me out here..

Do some mother cats eat their OWN kittenss???.. they say like some or most ? cats eat their first born child and sometimes all of their babies So what do u guys think.. is that true..? did it ever happen to anybody ??

Yes it does happen. When I was younger I had a cat that ate one of her babies. It was born dead though, but I have never seen a cat eat a healthy live kitten

Yes mother cats will eat their kittens, if they aren't mom material and they get overwhelmed by suddenly have kittens to deal with, if their kittens are ill, if they feel threatened where they have had their kittens.
