I usually don't watch Canadian Idol, but this year a guy from where I live is in the top 12. I think that is kind of cool. If he gets to the top 2 we get to have that town support party on the final show.

He was picked from last week's show. I walked by the high school he goes to and there is a big congratz sign up. Isn't that nice.
are you from sudbury? and is his name daryl or something like that?

Yup that's the one. I didn't watch the show, and then voted for the wrong guy, but I'm glad he won. I'll be voting for him when he is back on.
I'm liking that Daryl guy. I missed the singing competition (in that week and this week) and caught the results show, and saw the clip of his singing, and liked him. I think this year's Idol might have the best talent compared to last year and the year before.
I've never seen a series of Canadian Idol before. NZ Idol is starting up again here for the 2nd time. They've just had auditions in my city.
