Of course, we get the lovely tropical storms and hurricanes to cool us off

After last year's hurricane season we're all just sitting around waiting to be blown out to sea anyway!
Nah, no worrying about hurricanes! They don't really come as much as the rest of the world believes. Those were my first in 22 years last year!

And...it may have been in the 80's in April, but it's STILL in the 80's in June! Here in Orlando the high for today is going to be 86 and is about the same where my parents are in Ormond Beach. Anything higher than 100degrees is record breaking for Orlando! Ah how I love Florida.

Hope your head feels better soon!
mmmm to the ice lolly!

I was sick when I got home last night cos of the heat
I nearly melted on the Victoria Line tube... it was yukky. As soon as I got home I had shower and still felt rank.

I am leaving a little earlier today, 4.30 to miss the crowds. I am really getting worried that I am going to faint or something

I have one of those little battery fans - ppl look at me with envy! I also carry a bottle of water with me. See that's the only thing with most of the tube, none of it gos outside so all the air is stuffy and humid. At least with the trains you can get some air coming in.

Oh and on my bus this morning, the heaters were on!!

It's been the mid 90's here all week. My AC is busted at home and at work they turn it off at night so it doesn't really cool down until around 2 p.m. It's hot and humid here, and I really can't wait till the summer is over. I hate those 105/110 degree days.

We've hit normal summer here in Taipei (came late this year, usually arrives in April/May) It's currently 11.38PM and 29C, 74 percent humidity. This is about as cool as it will get all summer unless a typhoon hits......

This also means my concrete box of a house is about 32C......

Thank god for A/C.

I love it here, yes, it's gets super hot, but it is a dry heat, which I can tolerate fine.
Seems though, that it's been somewhat wetter this spring than normal.
Now that summer is here, maybe the weather will normalize itself.

It was 118 in my car when I got into it about an hour ago to go home...ick! Like an oven!! It gets real bad right now every year at this time...and the best part is...it take me 3 mintues to get home...so my car is still hot when I get there...ugh...oh and the humidity...I won't go there! Anyone can borrow it, if they want!

I swear we have the best weather in the USA. The last few days it has been in the 80's on the coastal area's and 90's inland and in the valleys. Little to no humidity, and it always cools down at night. This weekend it's supppose t cool down to the low 70's and will be in the 70's all of this next coming week, however towards the end of next week it will move up to the upper 70's.

It's been in the high 80s/low 90s all week, and humid for the past few days. Tomorrow is supposed to be miserably humid, and in the mid-90s. We have no air conditioning at home or at work (it's not usual here), and the trains are unbearable. We've been leaving the windows and French doors open at night, and then closing them and all the shutters in the morning to trap the cool air (about 70°) inside. It's dark, but bearable.
I worry about Jamie - he's had heat stroke three times in 6 years. Yesterday I got home from work, and found him "baking" himself on the tiles of the back balcony, instead of staying inside where it was relatively cool. Today I made sure he couldn't go out there.

Our weather has actually been very nice this month. Highs in the upper 80s (occassionally lower 90s) and cools down to the mid 70's at night. Can't wait for next week...I'll be able to relax at the beach for a few hours four days straight!
