Movin' on up!
Monday and Tuesday featured highs of 110. Right now, at 5:00 p.m., it is 106. Since we have virtually no humidity, it actually bearable.

Bill tops off the dogs' 4-gal water pail, at 6:00 a.m., each morning. When I get home, at 3, they have sucked it dry. Today, I bought them a second one. I also run a patio mister for them. We can't leave them inside, during the day - they and Rowdy would destroy the place.

Our evaporative cooler is on high, as is every ceiling fan in the house. The cats are sprawled, each with his/her own fan.

One learns to move as little as possible, dress lightly and sleep naked. People who live in the Sonoran Desert are tough!

63 here right now
It was hotter in the morning, but the clouds came and rained us out.

110 would suck!

It was pretty hot here... around 30 C with the humidex. Feeling a bit sick from being out in the sun too long.

About 90 degrees here in southern Minnesota. Supposed to be mid to high 90's tomorrow with high humidity, a tropical sort of day. It's 83 in my house...no air conditioning. It's alright though. It's quite warm but not unbearable, just moving a little slower and made a nice easy cool dinner and ceiling fans keep the air flowing. And I make nice glasses of iced- coffee and spiced ice tea....ahhhhhhh.
The animals like to sleep by the floor fans. My kitties are totally sprawled out. Wallace was on his back today, legs totally stretched out, with his belly up....it was so cute.
No one seems too miserable. It's always a good excuse to take it easy.

Try living in Florida! It was in the 80's by April, with humidity that makes the air feel like soup

Of course, we get the lovely tropical storms and hurricanes to cool us off

After last year's hurricane season we're all just sitting around waiting to be blown out to sea anyway!

So far out in left field I got lost
The high today here was 93 degrees with the humidity at a stiffeling 81% or better. I am looking at my weather bug thing right now for my area that is what the humidity is right now. I know it was super hot and sucked the life right out of ya this afternoon. It was seriously one of the hide in the dark days for me
Too Hot for my blood!

At 110 Degrees I would probally die or something with the humidity we have around here. I do have a constant water source for the furbabies outside and I come home and give them ice after work. They love that

It was 86 today, which is abnormal for this part of the year. We actually have a No-Zone action day tomarrow- I don't know if other cities have this sort of thing or not. The government asks to limit outside activities that may create more ozone- like getting gas, mowing, and driving during the afternoon. Right now it's 75 and perfect! We have super-high humidity. It's lower right now, at 47%.

That's why I love Colorado! We're in a bit of a heat wave right now, with highs in the low 90s, but virtually no humidity. It still cools off to 60 degrees at night. And with the afternoon thunderstorms we've been getting, the rain will cool it off a good 10-15 degrees in a hurry.

In a state of insanity :)
Even this late in the day it is hot here still. Just go around the animals with a drink that has ice
and they are begging for the ice.

So do you best to stay as cool as possible and I will be sending cool thoughts your way.

I also loved visiting Colorado for that reason! It was great- the weather was perfect. I don't mind heat sans humidity at all. I'd love to go to Arizona and see what it feels like there. I often wonder if it feels hotter here when it's 90 than it does in Arizona, when it's over 100. It definitely feels hotter in Indiana than it does in Colorado, when the temp is the same.

Just remember, come January, when your fingers are blue and you have to shovel snow off of your car, I'll be sitting on my patio, wearing jeans and a T-shirt!

For the past few days in London it's been around the early 90's....

It's been mental on the tube trains though, yesterday they recorded a temp of 110 on the Northern Line

My office reached 87 yesterday - our air con is busted so all the computers / ppl add to the heat... It's not nice to work like this. I have 3 fans blowing on me as I type!
