Yes, but only as a special treat when Mom and Dad were feeling generous!
They ALWAYS watched Johnny Carson. They were born and raised in a teeny tiny town just 7 miles from Norfolk, Nebraska, so they had that local connection with him. LOL

Sometimes I did.. I actually seen a man on the Comedy station Show called "Just for laughs". doing an impersonation of him, it was pretty good

Yes, but it was usually on too late for me so I only got to watch it regularly when I was on summer vacation from school. He was a comedic genius - what a loss.

Whenever I could. Tried to stay awake for Tiny Tim and Miss Vicky's wedding but couldn't. In our area, the tradition was to watch weather"girl" Marcia Yockey ( a real character!) and Johnny before going to bed (or sleep if you were lucky enough to have a TV in your bedroom).
