I hope it is the real deal. Remember though you have to count the value of the cruise package as income and pay taxes on it so be aware.
The more I think about it and do my research, the more I definitely think you are right. I'm going to look into those cruises that Katherine mentioned, I think. They sound very do-ableOriginally Posted by katl8e
I hate to throw cold water on you but, this is NOT legit. If you have to pay anything up front, it is NOT a prize. Once they have your credit card number, you are being left wide-open for numerous other charges.
I know that you probably need the vacation but, save your money and book with a reputable travel agency. If you like, I'll e-mail the link to the one that I've used in the past.
Search the Carnival site and see what you would want to do and what cruise would be good for you and then check sites like Travelocity and Expedia to see if you can get it even cheaper. Lauren and I knocked $30 off the price by booking with Travelocity!Originally Posted by ugaimes

*Sigh* It was fun to think about.

I've always gone with Royal Caribbean and have never had a bad experience. Carnival has had too many mishaps, for my taste and too many kids. RC tends to cater to a more relaxed crowd. I loved the themed nights: 50s & 60s, country & western, sumo karaoke. The food and the service are to die for.
