Hi, My neighbor gave me on Fathers Day a new born kitten that she found. The kitten is about 5 days old +- a day, and has been feeding well (KMR kitten formula) the past few days and seems to be gaining weight. Coco's last feeding was last night about 10pm and now I can't get her/him to wake up and feed. Coco is content to lie in my lap and purr. Coco had it's first bowel movement last night and has been urinating with no problems. Other than being unable to wake up, the kitten seems fine. I tried cleaning the kitten, placing a drop of formula on the kitten's lips, gently flicking the paws, everything I can think of to rouse the little guy. I have an appointment tomorrow with my vet, but I think that is a little too late. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks. Elizabeth.

If you have a 5 day old kitten that is not waking to be fed every three hours, you have a problem. Please consult a vet
If the kitten cannot wake up, he can hardly be described as fine? You should get him to a vet pronto!! Good luck!! I hope the little guy will be OK!
