This is Zeus's favourite Show.... the fishy network. He makes himself right comfy on our kitchen table. all he needs is some popcorn lol

LOL... cute pic. My Frodo does the exact same thing. He often times leaps atop the tank and fumbles around when we're not looking.

I was GOING to buy a fish tank to amuse Simon and Elle a few weeks ago, so my boyfriend and I went to the local pet store to price tanks. We decided to figure out what type of fish we wanted first so I was looking around and saw some piranhas, which I thought was neat.

I made my boyfriend come over and take a look, I told him I really wanted some. He looked at me like , then he grabbed my shoulder and started to pull me away (at first I didnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t know why). I then saw a little gold fish swimming around in the piranah tank and said stupidly "what's the gold fish doing in the piranah tank" ?? Just then the piranhaâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s attacked the gold fish and tore it to bits. It was a horrible sight. There was a worker nearby and I said " did you know there was a goldfish was in the piranha tank???" and she looked at me like I was nuts and said " that's what we feed them!"

Needless to say I was almost in tears and we didn't get a fish tank nor any fish.

I know I am a little sensitive, and in the wild I know they would eat like that, but that poor gold fish never had a chance. Those piranhaâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s gobbled him up!

Oh now that is luxery!

hehe I keep a 5 gallon Eclipse hex tank with a mixed school of 14 fast moving Neon Tetras and White Cloud minnows, the cats love sitting next to it, staring.

I actually bought my cats their own pet goldfish two weeks ago. NOT for eating just for looking

They have so much fun running around the bowl looking at the fishies - that I wish I had bought them goldfish ages ago! Like my sister says it's "Interactive kitty TV"

Sorry you had to see that dear, but that is why they call them "feeder goldfish" and "feeder guppies." Some fish won't eat anything other than live food. Trust me, even though it is possible to feed piranha on beefheart and other meats you do not want any. My brother-in-law had some for a while. I always felt like they were sizing me up when I visited! I was not unhappy when they passed on.

I've got some algae in Sunny's betta tank that's waving around. Mithril has discovered that he can sit in front of the tank and watch it. The actual betta, Cougar, is quite old (almost 3 years) and doesn't move much LOL. Mithril was trying to paw through the glass yesterday. It was like "What is this stuff? I can see it, but I can't touch it!"

The pic is cool! What is COOLER is that u can see the reflection of the cat from the table on the wall! It looks kinda like a shape of an eye with a cat shape in the middle!
