It was a question in a magazine today..........suppose to help make you feel good about yourself........

For me, I'm particularly proud of my ability to see the otherside of an arguement, a situation, a problem.........I have a hard time taking sides, because usually there are 3 sides....her version, his version, and the truth! LOL

Great thread Susie!

I'd say I'm proud of the way that I follow through with things. If I promise myself or anyone else that I'm going to do something I can gaurantee you that it will be done, regardless of how difficult it may be.

I'm very proud of having completed & aced an intensive training to become a certified Search & Rescue volunteer in our state & a member of a local SAR team. I did it 2 yrs. ago to prove to myself I could do it at the age of 54 but the rewards are far beyond my self- accomplishments.

I am almost 33 years old and finally getting my high school diploma.....I just took the last 2 tests necessary to get my GED, so I don't know for sure if I earned my GED, but, I'm still proud of myself just for the fact that I'm pursuing it. It took me 16 years to work up the courage to pursue it. Hopefully, by the end of next week, I'll know if I got it. Keep your fingers crossed.

So far out in left field I got lost
I too am proud of getting my GED and then on to a college degree in accounting shortly thereafter. I went on to become the Phi Beta Lambda President for the last year & 1/2 that I was in college. I also went into competition for the school where I won 2nd place in the district competion doing Accounting for Professionals and then place third best on the state level. I also was inducted into the National Honor Society where I am still a member to this day, or at least an alumni member anyway. I learned that I am not as dumb as my ex always told me I was.

I am proud of the fact that after the dozens of jobs I have had over the years that I finally have a career.
I studied and got my Pharmacy Technician certification and work in a hospital pharmacy.
I feel like I make a difference now.

I'm proud of my financial ability. Together with my late husband, we managed to save/invest enough that I could "retire" at age 52, even though I could not start drawing my meager pension until age 60. I'm not living high on the hog, mind you, but I have a good life.

Under the cats, mostly.
This is a nice thread
I think I'm most proud of the fact I've got a big heart. People tell me that my talents in art and music should be what I'm most proud of, but when it's second nature to you, you do tend to take it for granted and let it fade into the background somewhere. I've come out of my shell in the last few years after the things that happened to me in the past - it's been nice to realise that I'm still standing and I can still find love in me, when I thought it had all been ripped out of me.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Way to go, everyone!

Don't know if I would say proud exactly, but a positive trait is that I am very tender hearted and loving. I empathize with others. I feel the hurt of those in pain and am drawn to help those in need as I share the joys of others who are experiencing happiness.

Oh and learning to programme the video recorder!

Who needs a man when Gilly the builder is around? I have my own hammer drill that I can use also!
