my kitten doesnt' drink much from the fountain and doesn't eat wet food but he likes the sauce from nutro chicken pouch, can he just drink that for hydration plus whatever water he drinks? i use two pouches just for a sauce.

Are you sure he doesn't drink when you're not looking? I thought my kitten didn't drink enough because I never caught them in the act. They seem to drink only when I'm not there, taking a bath or in another room. When they see me, they just stop and go away from the bowl.lol I like to think that they enjoy making us worried...
How old is your kitten? Does he pee normally? Sometimes, when I really want to make sure my older kitty is drinking enough I turn the kitchen tap on and he just can't resist drinking from it.;P

he rarely drinks, he likes the water warm but the water gets a little cooler to 70 degrees, he pees at least 3 times day, half size of a golf ball and he's 5 months old, is that normal? do you think the sauce from the pouch will hydrate him?

Well, I'm no professional, but I guess he should be alright. If you suspect he might be dehydrated...just pinch lightly the back of his neck (like his mother would do) and if the skin just springs back in place when you let it go, then he's okay. If it takes some time to go back....maybe bring him to the vet. But I wouldn't worry if he pees 3 times a day, that's seems normal.
