Hi folks.

Our cat has been fixed for over a year without any problems, except lately she has been meowing very heavily as if she were in heat.

Some may remember a post I made that she had been draggins socks and things out of our clothes basket and leaving them all over the house.

Should we take her to the vet?

It is always a good idea to take them to the vet when they start doing things out of the ordinary. You may want to start paying real close attention to her routines. See if there's any change in appetite or litter box habits.
Usually when they fuss like that, they are stressed or upset about something. Weather it is medical or something that has upset the routine.

How is the kitty situation going? Any changes for the better?
Just was thinking about your fur baby!

We're taking her to the vet tomorrow morning.

When we asked the vet about her moving socks and stuff, he said it was nothing to worry about. She's an otherwise active, playful, protective cat...so we kind of want to think she's just being a bit emotional.
