What a wonderful adventure! Your wee charge sounds precious.
Dilute torties are so lovely. There's a little dilute tortie who takes care of the residents in my Dad's extended care facility. Her name is Shaughna, and I don't think she'd mind if you felt inclined to share that name. I also wondered about Sospiro (a sigh).

I hope Sierra takes to her. Even though she's not a youngster and has been accustomed to being an only cat, there's lots of hope: My old lady Shasta (who also wouldn't mind if her name were borrowed, now that I think of it) was 14 when Gryph and Nibs came to our house. Once she got over her tantrum, I think they actually gave her a new lease on life. (It didn't actually take long -- it just seemed interminable when she was treating me as a traitor!)

Good luck, Steph. Keep us posted, and pics, please, as soon as you can!

Stephanie I must have missed it - but how long are you staying with your father?

Oh Stephanie if you lived closer i cold lend you Maverick to mother the little one, she has such strong maternal instincts!

If your wanting to give her an 's' name dont call her Sarah, all the Sarah's i've known have been crazy (except for tcs Sarah's of course!).

choosing a kittens name is so hard, here are some more suggestions:

sabrina = princess
sanura = kitten
sienna = reddish brown (lol)
savannah = treeless plain (i know, silly meaning!)

Hurrumph! I see you saved yourself there!

Stephanie, I am so pleased that things are going really well!
I'm glad that kitty has now got a round tummy - she must feel so much better already!

I'm thinking of you all!
I really hope that all goes well with Sierra and kitty! I am so sure that it will work out so well for you all!

Plus, I really can't wait to see pictures!
