Question about food...

My cat Pume Pume has always turned his head to anything that could remotely have alot of protein in it for him. Tuna, egg, salmon, etc. My other cats will just eat it all up. He also turns his head to any canned food I try to give him. He's also pretty overweight.

Could lack of protein in his diet be part of the weight problem?

Hi, could you post what you do feed him, and how much of it per day?

That was my thought too...

Have you tried boiled chicken? You might also try dehydrating some meat to see if he'll eat that. Regardless, a call to your vet may be in order. If your cat isn't eating, or isn't eating a balanced diet, he could be at risk for certain disorders like taurine deficiency.
