No, the closest to Mexico I've ever come was Galveston, Texas. I really want to come to your neck of the woods and see the Mayan ruins someday.
2.- Can you speak spanish?
Only a very few words. My brother married a girl who was born and spent part of her childhood in Mexico. He speaks it very well as do their children. They're living in Uruguay as missionaries right now. I should really try and learn more of the language. A lot of our crew at McDonald's is from Mexico these days. They speak very little English.
3.- Have you ever to try Mexican Food?
Does American-style Mexican food count? I don't think I've ever had traditional Mexican cooking.
4.- Do you like to Drink Tequila? .......
Yes, but please don't tell my mother!
5.- Have you ever to sleep in a hammock?
I can never get comfortable enough in our hammock to go to sleep. I just read for a while and enjoy the breeze and the sounds of nature (until someone starts mowing his yard, that is).

I have a CD of Peruvian music. Does that count? It's pretty cool sounding. I also have a few old vinyl records of Herb Albert and the Tijuana Brass. Have you ever heard of them?

Anytime there's a show on TV about the Maya I watch it. I got to see some Mayan artifacts at the Field Museum in Chicago a few years ago. I just hope their calendar about when the end of the world is going to be is incorrect, don't you?

I have watched a few foreign movies in Spanish. I don't know if they were specifically Mexican or not. The last one was about Che Guevarra and his motorcycle trip around South America. I can't remember the name. Do you have any recommendations of films I should see?

I was named after a character on The Edge of Night soap opera my mother watched as a young girl - Amy Ames. She spelled my name that way because she wanted it to be different. My baby brother married a girl who spells her name Aimee. Sometimes I get mail from my mom and she's mis-spelled my name.

Nothing really comes to mind except for when I got new glasses a while back. I balked at the price (which was way more than I had planned on spending, but you know how it is when they start adding on additional charges) and finally said to forget the whole thing. The guy looked at me and said, "What if I give you the employee discount, 45% off?" An unexpected blessing, I'd say.

The bunnies that visit our yard. I like to pretend that they all live in the honeysuckle bush in the back yard along with Malvolio, the vole/mole I've seen. I saw a little, tiny bunny in the flower bed yesterday and that got me thinking about little bunnies in school. I'm thinking that Mr. & Mrs. Hummingbird should live in the penthouse suite, what do you think?

Emma talks the most. I think she's mostly asking me to escort her to the kibble bowl and make sure everything's full and fresh.

I'm not sure I have any really bad habits. . . I'll have to ask my husband when he wakes up!
I don't smoke, don't drink to excess, don't use illegal drugs, don't swear (unless it's really called for). Maybe I do something else that's a bad habit that I haven't realized is a bad habit?

About 5 minutes, or so. When I get it cut Debbie seems to dry it forever, so my 5 minutes must not get it completely dry, but it's dry enough to move on to step two.

I usually try to cut them off as soon as possible so as not to waste their time and say, "Thanks for calling, but no thank-you."

I painted something on Sunday, the trim in our bedroom. We painted the walls last fall and just never got around to touching up the trim. It went from a dingy white to a brighter white. My parents are coming for a visit this weekend and they'll be staying in our room. That was the kick in the rear I needed to just go head and DO IT!
8. Name one item out of your decor that has the most significant meaning? Where you got it, why, and who from?
Almost all of our furniture came from someone else in the family. I'm not sure there's anything we have that has significant meaning. Well, looking around I guess I'd say my son's loft bed. We ordered it about 6 years ago from The San Francisco Loft Bed Company and it arrived via UPS in many, many boxes. It was a fun project.

Yes. It seems that my time at the computer always coincides with Miss Emma's PET ME, PET ME NOW! schedule. It almost never fails. And when she's finished Mr. Mac will very often jump on the desk to check my work.
