I just read in a thread taht some of you may know of a low-cost neutering location in some areas.

I'm in Midland, MI, and just got a kitten. She isn't ready yet, but saving up for the 150.00 procedure is difficult. I will do it if I have to , but I would hope there would be an alternative.

Hi. Just FYI...you say she isn't ready yet but how old is she? Kittens can be neutered at 10 weeks or 2 lbs. depending on the vet. Some won't do it until 6 months though which is dumb because a cat can get pregnant at 5 months old.
