Sorry I've been MIA lately... classes and work caught up with me. But things are going well, getting better slowly...

I just got done doing a 2 week "boot camp" of classes, where I got overloaded with a ton of information. And does anyone remember that important test I took a month ago? I got my results back yesterday... and I PASSED!! I can hardly believe it, I was so sure I didn't... and it turns out I passed easily! This is great news b/c now I can start sending out resumes and go to the job fair my school holds... basically I can be a teacher!

Work is... work. Still struggling through it. I had the past 2 weeks off b/c of class but now I'm back and working the morning shift (4am-1pm with no break) for a while.

The cats are good... Baylee has mellowed out as she leaves kittenhood behind and she grows more beautiful daily, I promise! Max is still a jumpy, nervous little thing... but he loves me and I can always count on him for snuggle time, unlike my little independant Bay.

And that's about it... well I'm horribly behind on wedding planning stuff but I'm sure it'll get done... eventually.

Of course you were missed, silly!

Congratulations on passing that test! That is such fabulous news, as it takes you one step closer to leaving behind that horrible job you have now, and moving to doing something that you love.

Well - I haven't been around enough myself to miss anyone, but I am SURE you were missed!

Congrats on passing the exam
- I know EXACTLY how that feels. I'm long past college days, but I've had exams for my work-related stuff too, and thank God it's all behind me.

And I know that weddings are just about the most stressful things in life -but you'll find time, and do your best to enjoy it. Gary and I did it very quick and simple - got married while on the road together, way up North in British Columbia. No planning - except to make sure there wasn't enough time for anyone to get there in time for the wedding day, lol! We did it for us, it was simple and casual, and boy did that make it easy. But it is just about the biggest day in your life, so make sure you're happy!

Congratulations on passing the test, and on being able to move towards giving your two week notice (heh heh heh).

When you've caught your breath from these past couple of weeks, you can get back to wedding planning...just remember it is *your* day..or I should say "yours" - for you and your finance. Don't let anyone make it into anything other than what both of you want!

Lucky that you and Gary got to get married nice and quickly... I would love to do that! Unfortunately we decided to go the complicated way (destination wedding = fun and a nice vacation but also booking vendors you've never seen before)... sheesh!

Hee hee, I can't wait to give my notice!

As for the wedding planning... I have to go wedding dress shopping the first weekend in July with my mother. It's going to be a short trip over to Houston so we'll be rushed but hopefully it'll get done!

Hey! How are you and your gang?) And I hope I'll make a good teacher... I'm getting more nervous as I'm not a good public speaker and not used to being in charge - every job I've ever had has been me following what someone tells me to do. Gulp!

Lol! Actually we did have some map-related questions! So all that practice came in handy!

I still say you win when it comes to horrible hours! I was working the night shift, but you are working sort of a half night/half day shift. Yuck!
I've been on days, but now my hours are getting ready to change again. Figures, as soon as you get used to one, they switch you to another!
You know how that goes! My precious baby is doing great, except she's been missing hearing from her cousins Bay and Max!

Hey stranger
I've said it before, but I'll say it again: CONGRATULATIONS!!! You are going to be such an awesome teacher. You're kids will love you and your Mr. Alligator sock puppet.

You're going to have to be my wedding buddy this year. What's halfway between Texas and Virginia. We should meet there and go dress shopping together!
