A month ago we moved our calm, lovable, quiet cat into a new house. Now hse is extreamly vocal and always trying to get out. IF we don't let her out, she tears at the screen door. I understand cats hunt-hence the bloody rabbit with a broken back on my white carpet but she'll tear the screens to get in too (with the prey) I like the idea of the cat enclosure but how about this new indoor behavier? Oh and the other issue is that we now live next to an area with lots of animals that can eat Stink. Help!

You could have old pet stains in your new place that is making your cat crazy. Personally, if there are animals out there that will harm your cat, then it is in your best interest to keep her inside. Is she fixed?

You might want to invest in a black light and turn that on in you home and see if you have any pet stains. If she is tearing your screen door, they make kitty proof screening you can put up that she can't tear, or take some chicken wire and make a frame for it and attach that to the back part of your screen. There could also be cats in the area that at night are spraying your house outside and driving her buggy.

Thank you-I didn't know about the catproof screens. Now if I can find a way to keep them shut. These are 9 footers and the little monster finds a way to open them. Well she keeps me on my toes.

Pet screen is sold at Home Depot in the window department.
If you don't want to install it yourself, any decent window and door store should be able to do it for you.
