I am fostering kittens right now and with the first one she developed vomitting, dehdration, fever. We decided it was a bacterial enteritis, put her on 3 antibiotics and she turned around almost instantly (she was the only kitten in the house at the time). Well 3 weeks later I recieved her sister who was fine for about a week then she started showing signs, I started the same antibiotics and she turned right around. Now I have 5 other kittens showing the same symptoms, plus one has bloody diarrhea. All of them going on the 3 antibiotics but none are getting any better. I had them at work with me today and we discussed other things to try, but nothing good came up. I am trying to reach my boss at home right now (unsucessfully), so anybody know of any good websites that I can check out that may be able to help these poor babies. I am physically sick to my stomach trying to help them but nothing seems to be working, and if I don't get the one turned around very very soon it will be too late for her.

I beg you to take the poor babies to an emergency vet clinic, immediately. There's something being passed around, and all sick kitties need to be evaluated as soon as possible.

Bless you so much for taking these sweet babies on as a project...I hope they get well very soon. I simply don't know of any internet resource that can address this quickly.

I work in a clinic, and we are doing fluids and antibiotics, I just don't think they are turning around like they should. I am taking them back into work today so we can re-evaluate, and try a change of plans. There is nothing an emergency clinic could do for them right now that isn't already being done. I am just trying to research the symptoms and look for other causes. Since I will be at work today I can check the medical books there.
