We're remodeling my room, and I got new wood floors! YAY! I love it! Well, it's wood wanna-be, but SHHHH!
Me and my brother each got new beds that are coming tuesday, complete with matching dresser, mirror, and nightstand. I'm so excited! I've never really gotten a NEW bedroom set before. It's always been hand-me-downs from my sister!

We're also remodeling our kitchen... we don't have one right now! It's all tore up!

What household projects are you working on?

Oh you must be so excited!, i love getting new stuff for the house

I'm not doing anything to the house at the moment, but next year i'll be getting someone in to decorate it throughout.

I've recently bought some new living room curtains though!

Congratulations on your new room!
WE have a list of hosuehold projects that we have to do. We just moved into this house at the end of December. We are working on teh outside right now. I have been weeding and mulchign and planting before it gets REALLY hot. We have lots of painting and things like that to do! I am trying to slow down my progress right now because the money is going out way faster than it is coming in!

We are in the middle of replacing the carpet in our dining room and living room with bamboo flooring and a marble mosaic piece for the entry way. Our living room furniture is scattered all over the house right now and the living room is nothing but a slab of concrete. Fun

I have a 3 days off next week and we are going to pressure wash the second story of the garage and then paint it Wed-Sat. The trim will be a light tan and the body of the 2nd floor a blue. I'm kind off worried as the peak of the 2nd floor is 23 ft off the ground. Its not that I'm afraid of heights but we are using scaffolding and with the 2 of us painting (with brushes!!) I hope it will go quickly. I hoping the 1st coat will only take about 4 hours at we will have to paint the back also. (the garage was built to look like a barn.) The garage door and service door and trim needs to be painted also.
Plus the attached garage doors and trim need touching up. After that we will be painting the inside of the garage. I'm currently buying "oops" paint as home depot in very light colors and when I have 8 to 10 gallons I am mixing all together in a garage can and will start. The inside trim will also be repainted!!
I then need a tree moved and I have to redesign the walkway between the house and the other garage. Rip out the old brick path and also design a stone/brick patio on the side of the garage (the one we are painting) We will do that ourselves too. Neil is taking a stone wall construction class in July and I would like to incorporate that plus maybe a small firepit. We then also have to reseed the area around the garage.
And then if we have any energy lift work on a water feature in the front of my potting shed. PLUS we still have to rebuild the John Deere tractor that is in pieces in the garage.

ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
