Grunting

My cat grunts....i think thats what hes doing...hes either grunting or hes like having a really really hard time breathing......but its not all the time.....does anyone know about this kind of thing? is it normal? should i get him checked out?

oh, dear. Does this happen while he is in the sink, leaving those blood spots you mention in the other thread?

actually....i dont know if he does it then....i know that he does it while we are petting him and when hes sleeping....he purrs like normal but has an added motorboat sometimes...lol..
