Okay they are 4 weeks old now and we NEED names.
I have already named 2 of the 6.

First we have.....

SPICY.... and the reason I have named her this is b/c she has always been the biggest and has always done everything 1st. Opened her eyes first.. started wobbling around first.. walked first and groomed herself and also her sisters and brother first.
Also she just has a SPICY attitude.

Second we have....

CHANCE... because he is the only boy and doesn't stand a "chance" with all those girls....

Now I need help with the other 4....all girls.

In this pic is an all grey and is very fuzzy. Also a black and white girl. She has one "black eye".

Last but certainly not least....
An all grey girl but not as fuzzy as the other 2 grey. She has always been the smallest but can be pretty ferocious.

Also is the other black and white kitty. this one has two "black eyes".

Thanks everyone!!!

At my shelter you can tell get used to giving them names, my kittens always come named things like: Jupiter, Pluto and Venus (my current set) or Squirt, Sunkist and Shasta (my last set).

The black and white one makes me think of a cow (a cute one of course) so I want to hame her Moo or Milk or something.

The grey ones ... hmm.... Maybe more personality type names, like Fidgit, Bounce, Fussy, or Lionheart.

Or human names like Lilah or Elizabeth.

Not sure I was much help.
I named my last foster Hamlet, or Hammie for short.

Aww they are so cute!! God bless them! The grey ones remind me of my kitty Shadow. She is all grey but her eyes are a yellowish/grayish color.

Maybe you could name one of the gray one Shadow and/or Midnight
.
And for the Black and white ones i would suggest Oreo , Mitsy , Cassie ,Or Cattie

Cute furbabies! But don't ask me for names unless you want something really weird
(yes, we actually do call them Narsil and Mithril!)

I understand your want to give your kittens names, but do you think you might be able to hold out a bit longer? Here's why (long story-o-rama):

I met a cat on the patio of a bar one night. He was a skinny little tom with his ribs showing through his fur. He wanted nothing to do with me, but was very interested in the two girls I was with. After doing the "look at me, aren't I cute PET ME!" thing to the two girls, he proceeded to try to enter the bar. I thought this was a bad idea, and went to tell him so. He responded by pointing out how bad an idea my idea was by hissing at me.

Fast forward a bit, and I've got a skinny cat in my back seat, going home with me. He was not happy. Once he got over what I mistook for agoraphobia, we became fast friends. After three weeks of having him, I decided we should sit down and have a chat because we were both sick of refering to him as "cat." Besides, I had been trying to find his owner and he wasn't mine, so I didn't think I should name him a la Breakfast at Tiffany's. We had a sit down chat, and I told him that it was a good idea to give him a name, which he aggreed on. I tried two, but he said he didn't like them. He liked Jameson, though, and it stuck.

Maybe you should try asking your kittens what their names are.

As for Bast, she was a spitfire from day one. She didn't quite realize that she wasn't going to win in a fight against a cat twelve pounds heavier than her. But she tried. Even after they got used to one another, they still had little spats, even after a year there will be a hiss and swipe about once a month, but that's usually because Jameson isn't a fan of sharing his food. She's very protective of me, my home, and Jameson. Always the first to see what's going on, what the new thing that came in the door is, and she bristles quite quickly. A very wild thing, with "legendary" wrath to the intruding lady bugs and plastic bags. Also, she always smelled nice - it sounds weird, but she's never smelled bad. So, after asking her what she'd like for a name, she was quite pleased with what she got.

Ask your kittens, you'd be surprised what they'll tell you.

The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter,
It isn't just one of your holiday games;
You may think at first I'm as mad as a hatter
When I tell you, a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES.

I think the easiest way to name litters is to go with a theme. For instance you've named one Spicy, you could go with spice and herb names, like Ginger, Marjoram, Rosemary and Angelica. Or maybe precious and semi-precious stones - Garnet, Jade, Amber and Beryl. Or, how about googling tree or flower names? If you've got a favorite movie or book you could pull names from that (Narsil & Mithril are from Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" for instance.) I named a cat of my Mom's once that was "Vincent" from the short-lived series "Beauty and the Beast." There are waaaay many possibilities

I like Sassy for the little but ferocious girl. Spicy and Sassy are good sister names. And is there a girl pirate? We have a boy with a patch over one eye named Captain Feathersword.

Or you could go with the "S" theme; Spicy, Sassy, Sparkle (for pirate girl with one black eye), Smoke (for the floofy gray girl), and Susie (for the proper black and white tuxedo kitty with tow black eyes)?

You have very cute kits!
