Have you ever Googled yourself?!

I was just messing around on Google and entered my name! I found tonnes of articles about Sarah Irvings!

One funny thing, though, is that I know there is another Sarah Irving living in Manchester - she actually lives in the same area and went to the uni that I am at! So strange!

I was thinking it might be fun if we do a Google of our names and maybe post the funniest website that comes up!

I'm still trying to find a good one of my name!

OMG! i typed my full name without any spaces and the first one at the top was when i was a spotlight member here on TCS

It's so strange when that happens!

I remeber searching for cat condos around the time that I made mine and posted the pictures here and that came up!

Susan, I certainly am more common, I can't deny! But I am also something to do with Texas - I brought up a map!

I did under my maiden name (Mary Larkin) and found a copy of my mothers maternal family tree all the way back to the 1700's. This of course got me researching my ancestry so now my name is all over the ancestry forums and websites. I even discovered I am an author living in Belfast Ireland

It was weird to see it that is for sure. I am sitting by my Team lead since I am at work ( and yes ) we do get a bit slow so we surf some - anyway he wanted the link to show our supervisor Jason hehehehe

I am afraid I do it regularly - as a journalist I need to know what people can access that I wrote or moderated. But there are a number of other people with the same name - the funniest one being my ex-husband's new wife - yep, he married another Jenny!

Well with just my first and last names, I pulled back 127,000 entries. With the exact phrase of my name only 42. Evidently someone with my name is the President and Owner of Mama's Salsa. Maybe I'll have to check that out.

And with my full name I pulled back, just one and it had to do with a post I made here about my full name. Of course that's going to the advanced search to actually just pull back the exact phrase.

My name must be a little more unusual than I thought.

I googled myself some time ago and found there are Jan Bonds in Sweden and South Africa. Oh, they are also male and teenaged.

Seeing as how my last name is a color I get quite a few hits. I also watched a girl with my EXACT name, including middle, graduate from my college a few years ago (she was older and blonder than me).

I'm fairly common too.

I did a while ago and found out I have about 115,000 entries! The most popular one with my name must be a well-known artist cuz there's a lot of entries about her showings at various galleries..

I have also seen info about myself (mostly related to my job- various presentations, if ppl had questions regarding specific internships/jobs to contact me, etc) and that makes me nervous.. Wish I could delete those cuz some1 stalked me a couple years ago and I had to move away so I'm always afraid that he'd find out where I'm currently living..
