Puerto Rico... land of rice and beans.
Watched it at the cinemas yesterday night with Vicky... as horror movie lovers, it doesn't compare to SAW in a million years, in blood and gore... and it lacks a bit on the presentation of the characters, but what makes it worth it in my opinion are two things: The specific type of mental disorder and motivations behind the killings and the sound track used in the movie. A homicidal madness in which the killer can not only believe he is not the murderer, but dissasociate himself to the point that in his mind, he is a victim running from the murderer, to the extreme point of fabricating everything shown in the movie... it is so mind boggling its downright fascinating. As the dream shown in the initial part of the movie... she dreams she is running away from herself, and she won't survive him unless she becomes him.

M'aimez-vous?

I was going to see it but my lovely guy friend said that we should see The Longest Yard at a different theatre. Who am I to resist such cuteness?
Sounds excellent though, next movie we go to is my pick!!!

I think I might go see it. It looks like a decent thriller with a decent amount of gore. I've heard the dubbing is pretty bad, but I can overlook that. Saw was great through! Kerasotes.com listed Saw 2 as coming out Oct. 28th http://www.kerasotes.com/Movie.aspx?FilmID=1628

I just can't wait until June 24th!!!!! Land of the Dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw it a few months ago. My BF is a HUGE horror fan and bought the European version off EBay. It was wild. I'm not a big fan of the genre, so I'm in no place to judge it...but it had some nice nods to old-school horror and certainly didn't skimp on the gore.

Yes, yes he is. I've been watching my Dead DVDs over and over in preparation. I know that I'll have to work that night, so I'm going to the afternoon show! I think it's great that Asia Argento is starring in this. Speaking of legendary horror, her dad is pretty amazing!
