Susie, you had a funny hair weekend then?!

Shem, I hope you get better soon!

My weekend was HORRIBLE!
I found out on Friday afternoon that the computer wouldn't work for my exhibition, so i'm having to use a phone! BUT, my Tutors took it upon themselves to attach one to the wall! They ruined my exhibition pieces.

So, over the weekend, I had work so hard to knit a phone in time for today - as the External Examiner is in! I am so tired now - and didn't manage to get half my weekend jobs done

I'm whinging now too!
Sorry guys!

I did my usual working, volunteering, and just plain hanging out. I didn't have to go to the visitation center on Saturday though because we were overstaffed, so I was REALLY excited to get to sleep in and NOT wake up at 7:15 like I normally do! Then on Sunday at the visitation center I got trained as a roamer, which is REALLY exciting and means that they trust me enough to work me as an observer or a roamer (who deals with people at the gate, and is "roaming" around the center so that any observers who need help, advice, or to be relieved can be)! I was really happy about that. Brendan and I went to Johnny Rockets for dinner last night and stuffed ourselves, and I guess that about wraps up my weekend.

It was pretty nice!
Oh, and there was a leatherback turtle that had somehow gotten himself through the fence at the Greyhound place, he made for QUITE the adventure!!!!

It's infuriating, hey?! I also had to be in uni for 9am this morning to try to rectify the situation and the Tutors just kept on going on and on about how they thought it looked better on the wll instead of a plinth!! (of which they gave my other one to someone else!!!!!
)

I am POSITIVE that the name sticker has my name on, NOT theirs!

The course itself. It had no structure or support. We'd turn up for a lecture and the lecturers didn't turn up and if we didn't turn up we were reprimanded and treated like children!! I loved Manchester but couldn't go back to living there.. too fast for me. Am dying to go back for a holiday.. maybe next year...

Was it at the Met then?! Sounds about right!
What were you trying to study?!

I find Manc a bit fast living - I'm a bit of a bumkin!
Although, where I am now is pretty chilled - more like artists' quarters of the south!

Oooh! Yes, come for a visit!!
I could take you to Satan's Hollow!

Sorry, yeah it was just the normal Uni.. it was a Social Work and Learning Disability Nursing combined course. Should've been for 3 years. First 18 months nursing and the second 18 months Social Work... I love Cafe Pop..

Pretty good! On Saturday I ran lots of errands (went to Rona to have pieces of wood cut to prop up my AC, bought cat food and litter, did laundry, etc.) and then in the evening I had a date - we went to a cafe and hung out for a few hours, had fun, though I'm not sure I'll see him again.

Sunday I slept WAY in ('til 1:30 PM, I think), and then had a very lazy day - watched lots of TV and basically got nothing done!

this weekend was long and tiresome for me.

first on friday i spent 12 hours over at a friends house helping him do a turbo swap on his subaru impreza wrx. also we replaced his exhaust. it was hot all day with the sun beating down.

saturday i sat around and didnt do too much except wash my car and go to sams club with courtney.

sunday i had two softball games i played. it was extremely hot out. damn humidity. then the rest of the day i spent cleaning up the apartment and watching family guy.
