Seamus is 8 mos old and tonight is the first night that he's come down with diahhrea (sp?). I actually heard him moan a little bit while in the litterbox. I was quite worried, but then he started acting all fiesty again, playing, and fighting with his teddybear. So, am I right to freak out a little or going overboard?

Did you switch food on him or give him something strange to eat? Is he still having diarrhea? Is there blood in it?

No blood. He's eating the same foods as ever. I bought him some new treats, but I don't think he ate any yesterday. He might have eaten a bug. He was stalking around the house with a purpose.

I don't think a bug will cause diahrrea. You've ruled out diahrrea due to a change in diet, so I think a vet visit is in order.

I had planned to take him this week anyway. He seems fine today. Sleeping more then what's normal for him though.
