Mittens has an ingrown nail and I was going to clip it out. But, I need to put some type of healing ointment on it afterwards. Can I use Neosporin? It's the only thing I have right now.

This is probably the single most important toy I ever bought. I got it when my boy was a kitten and two years later, he still plays with it every day.
Is this ok?

I wouldn't recommend Neosporin for the simple reason that it says on the label "for external use only" (or something like that) and we all know that anything that gets on a cat's paw is likely to be licked off and end up INSIDE the cat.
I'm not really sure that you want to be doing that yourself?
Somebody who knows please advise?

I don't know if you should even clip the nail out... unless you're completely sure you know what your doing. It might be better to take it to a vet to have it done professionally.

I went ahead and did it. I used some Non-toxic solution just to clean the paw called "Satin", I used verrrry little and wiped it off with lukewarm water. He's doing great today
