I can't believe I did it and you can call me crazy but I adopted a new boy! It was totally unplanned! In fact I had just PM'd Sam and told her I was considering a white kitten from Jake's original breeder (before DragonLady). Anyway, I stopped by the humane society today just to take a look and there he was! I couldn't resist. I played with him for about 45 minutes and it was love.
He had been there almost 4 weeks, poor thing. I just had to have him. He is 1 year old and his owner gave him up because he didn't like her new husband. Sheesh... I would have gotten rid of the husband. What's wrong with her!?!

I think he would be considered a solid cream Persian. He is a shade lighter then Peaches and his coat is much more dense but he has the same face as Peaches. He is gorgeous! My place is kind of small, so I didn't have a lot of time for slow intoductions but everyone is doing well! He is very relaxed and has made himself at home already. Right now he's laying on my bed.
See pictures below! (I know... he needs the corner of his eyes washed. But I want to let him be for a bit before I attack him with eye wipes!)

Thanks guys! Oh by the way.... his prevous owners called him Harley but I don't know if I'll keep it. He doesn't really respond to it. I posted more pictures in the "More Really Cute Persians" thread.

OOOO, he's a very lovely fellow! Can't think of names off the bat, but don't discard "Harley" until you check out his purr -- my stepson had a "Harley", so named because of his purr, for the motorcycle.

Good idea! I agree
And are there any two boy names more manly then Jake and Harley?

No, it just reminded me of how much I loved his sweet face...this fellow is going to be just as special I can tell. I am very happy for you! (and for him, he's in a wonderful new home that won't discard him like his previous owner!)
