How did you find TCS?

I was on a horrible forum, on i-love-cats.com. There was really awful people on it. I was recommened this site. I started posting, and couldn't stop. Before I knew it, I had almost 3,000 posts in a year.

Hehehe I think my story is pretty different. I found it purely by chance! My little bro and I used to play a game when we couldn't think/remember what we were originally looking for. We'd choose a couple of random words, run them together and add .com or .co.uk on the end and see what happened. One night we were sat looking for something to do with cats because my little Sprocket was acting up a bit... couldn't remember what we were looking for - other than it was something to do with a cat... so we typed www.thecatsite.com in the searchbar... and boom. There you all were! We've had some funny turn-ups doing that before now.... we've had www.windmills.co.uk, www.sock-collectors.com (which incidentally turned out to be mens underwear - and NOT for the feet!) ... you name it! usually something comes up

So here I am... and I wouldn't change it for the world!

I was doing an internet search for cat sites and this was the first one that popped up on google. I came here and decided this was the best one I would find and this is the only one I use for info now. I needed helpful help with kittens since all I have ever dealt with were adult cats.

I was told about TSC by "JaneMary" she works with me

I called her the other night asked if she wanted to come visit so I could introduce her to my 8 kitties as you see them in my signature picture - Lacie is not in the picture yet so it only looks like 7. She got to work and messaged me telling me about this great site. I have been hooked ever since. THANK Jane

Wow. looks like a lot of us found it by chance on google! I think its interesting to know how everyone that is here got here so lets keep the stories coming!

Wow! I never actually realised you had been a member so long!

I did a Google search for Cats and clicked on this link. I instantly felt at home here, and have been hooked ever since! Little did I know that one little click would change my life as I knew it!

Was just playing around with my new toy as I'd just got hooked on the internet - I typed in the word Cat at Yahoo and just checked out some of the sites that popped up. Found TCS and it looked the nicest and friendliest one out there so I joined. And ws welcomed. A little while later I had to post that I'd had to have Tiger put to sleep as old age had caught up with her - again all the people who responded were very supportive and helped me through the worst. So now I just hang around and enjoy the company - even if I don't post all that often. Love it here

Well as you can see from my profile I joined on 3/10/03. Roxygo showed up at my door on 3/3/03, so I joined in response to that. I was just getting over my childhood cat snuggles passing on, and I decided that at this point in my life I really didn't want to be tied to anything so I did not plan on getting another pet for some time, if ever. Well he showed up and at first I was trying to find someone to take him off of my hands but then the little brat stole my heart. He's not that big of a pain in the butt really.. BUt I did a google search about cat care, as this would be the first cat I would take care of exclusively and I wanted to make sure to do everything the right way (my parents, god love em, only had farm cats and though they lasted outside for over 22 years they weren't exactly pampered to say the least) and me being a princess naturally wanted to spoil my cat as much as possible, and keep him in perfect health as well

I grew up with cats at home, but haven't had any since I moved out last year. I finally gave in and decided to get a couple of kittens and have spent the last month searching the net for advice about the wellbeing and behaviour of my new furry little monsters. I found this site through a recommendation on a UK forum.

Three weeks til I get my furbabies
