what natural dry food do you recommend for sensitive tummy? i'm using hills i/d right now but i don't think it's making any difference, my vet doesn't have much to say about food, whatever i say to her from what i learn here she's agrees.

I am not sure if this would be appropriate - it is for cats with food allergies that show up in skin issues and tummy upsets. Here is the page with a full description:click here - it is Natural Balance Venison and Green Pea dry cat food. It would be worth comparing them with your vet to see if he/she approves your trying this.

i had tried 4 different types of dry food, with the hills i/d i guess he's doing ok, sometimes his poop is soft sometimes it's really good, the thing is i'm the one who put him on prescription diet, like i said whatever suggestion i mention to my vet she's seems to be okay with it, maybe she think she knows what i'm talking about, now i'm doubting myself if he really has a sensitive tummy and getting deprive of a good food.

Well unless your really happy with your vet I would try a second opinion.. Yes you know alot but my vet rarely is just okay he umm converses about things... Is this the 9month old or the 5 month old... ?? if it is the 5 month old most definately I would try kitten food again just make sure the fat and protein are balenced... Natural balence venison is good for sensative tummy due to allergies ( I give it as a cookie), it may be worth a try.. are the kittens getting any canned??

this is the 5 month old, when i had them on nutro he did fine for a while, so i thought sensitive tummy was not an issue, then he ate a lot and started the real loose poop then i decided on the hills which the vet agrees with it, and that's all he wants to eat right now, my 9 month old is also eating the prescription but he eats 1/3 of a cup of rabbit with bones with added taurine everynight, the 5 month old has a bite of the rabbit but that's it, who makes the venison and pea or the rabbit and pea?, i will try to switch them again to real kitten food.

The dry venison and green pea is by Natural Balance (the Dick Van Patten brand of cat food) -click here and I see they newly have this in a canned version for cats as well.
