Hey, it was the town's fault for doing repairs! And the fire and water companies love emergency calls in the evening! The water company got to test its "pipe camera", which is very useful for determining the exact location of stuck kitties. And who cares if mommy and daddy have been blacklisted, and can no longer insure their pets?

I have never found the fridge door open due to one of the babies but I have actually had the life scared out of me when I happened to go to the fridge for some milk and to find Ricky sleeping on the bottom rack..
I had been cooking earlier so I am thinking he jumped in when I wasn't looking and I closed the door not noticing him. Poor thing.. I felt bad but he seemed pretty content.

I'm lucky, too. Hammie has not yet learned how to open the fridge door, or the front door. He's working on it, though.

Mine have never really destroyed anything, they "use" stuff (like the sofa for a scratching post, the sheers of my bed canopy as chew toys) but I don't mind, I'm actually used to it. After living my whole life with cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, rats, all sorts of pets? Man would my life be booooorrrrrringggg if I didn't have some type of mess to clean up every day!

btw, I think your cats planned to have you cook all the meat for them. They's smart little guys.

No freezer doors here, but someone turned one of our gas stove eyes on Wednesday! Thank God it was the small simmer eye, or we wouldn't have a house anymore!

I can't believe what you must have been feeling going through that!
to a certain kitty!

If that had happened to me, I probably would have FREAKED out and had an heart attack!

I really wish more people would do this with animals. It's a simple, and very effective safety measure

The newer stoves have a safety mechanism so you have to push in and turn at the same time. I wonder if you could get something like that for your stove?

What did she do?, walk straight onto a quiche leaving a dent from one of her paws in it!
the other day my mum called me into the kitchen when we had guests round and pointed to a trail of paw prints in her fresh homemade lasagne!

We didnt tell anyone, we ate the canolloni instead! lol

That's the scary thing...it is a new stove...just a year old, maybe two now, and it's quite difficult to turn on..... for me anyway !

I was totally freaked out! And after that little escapade, I stopped feeling guilty about making Jamie an "indoor cat". He has a secured balcony 24/7, and I take him out on a leash every day, but no way am I going to let any future fur babies roam at will.

Jamie puked up hair and saliva right on top of my notebook two years ago, which shorted out. I was shocked that Samsung repaired it free of charge, i.e., under guarantee. Whoever repaired it wrote a short note saying he or she had never encountered real grass and saliva inside a computer. The "F" keys don't work, and I can't move the task bar to the bottom of the screen, but I'm grateful that I didn't have to just throw the thing out.

They are Persians? and?

My persians are SOOOOOOOOO naughty. Just yesterday I was sitting at the computer typing with a singlet on and Lonestar bounded from the couch onto my back.
