pandy totally loves plastic bags, she rips them up and leaves peices all over the carpet, she jumps on them, hides in them and attacks them.

this morning i saw a thing on ebay called a krinkly cat sack and decided to buy it for her hoping she will leave other plastic bags alone.

has anyone else got a plastic bag loving cat and what do you think of the krinkly cat sack?

love,

felicia

Cola loves her krinkle sack (I bought it at Walmart). The other 2 really don't care about it but they leave plastic bags alone and she loves them.

Baker only likes paper bags which he destroys, but once in a while I give him one to have fun with

Mik LOVES to chew on plastic grocery store bags.
He doesn't ingest any of it... he just chews on it for a bit because I think he likes the texture.

Knowing my cats, they'll probably enjoy the krinkly cat sack toy AND the plastic bags.

Piku loves plastic bags. He'll crawl through the handles and sometimes can't get them off because either his tail or legs are in the way. I'll have to look into getting one of the krinkly sacks, he'd probably love it.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Sierra loves paper bags, so we have several around the house for her to play in! I got her the Krinkle Sac thinking she would adore it, and she couldn't have possibly cared any less for it!
It's such a clever product, though, and a great idea! Sure hope Pandy loves it! Please let us know!

I have wanted to get a krinkly cat sack for Guinness but have not managed to find them in UK shops (I want to see it before I buy it)...
He loves plastic and paper bags and is always rustling away in the shopping carrier bags when I return from the supermarket!
I think one of these krinkle sacks would be just the thing for him!

The krinkle sacs are great unless they mash them down so they can't be opened. I actually made one once (the store bought ones weren't quite right) out of cotton and cellophane wrapping paper (paper in between 2 pieces of cloth), but added a stiff wire around the opening to hold it open for them. They loved it! There is a pattern available in the craft section of either Buttericks or McCalls if anyone is interested. The wire was my idea.

I'm interested to see if Pandy likes the krinkle sack b/c I've been thinking about getting one for Cosette too....she is a TERROR on plastic bags! I'm so paranoid about her biting off a piece and choking on it
so I always supervise her when she wants to play with 'em.... it'd be great if she had a similar toy that was also safe!

I couldn't find it on the site. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place

I bought Snowball one of those krinkle sacks for Christmas last year. He loves it, but the sack keeps closing up so he can't get back in.

Oops, my bad: Simplicity 5233

I used florist wire and sewed it under the bias tape (or lace) at the opening to hold it open. You will want to get wire that can be wet in case you need to wash it.

At the kitty's beck and call
Lily loves plastic bags - she only has to hear one rustle and she's leapt in it before you know what's happened. Knowing this I bought her a crinkle sack and she really isn't bothered with it at all. Just about the only things it has going for it according to Lily is that is has a catnip sachet inside and it makes a nice noise when she stands on it before leaping off after another toy. You know that thing they do with their back legs padding up and down before launching off? Well she thinks the crinkle sack makes a nice noise when she does that

Gandalf loves his crinkle sack well actually it's a tube but same idea.. He's always hiding in it and trying to jump out and get me. Poor thing doesn't seem to realize that I can see his back side hanging out the other end of the tube.
