Hi!

So happy to have found this site! I'm Julie in Baton Rouge, La. and I have 2 cats - Tiger, my 4 year old Maine Coon and our new baby, Moses - a 2 month old tuxedo? I'm really not sure what kind of cat he is. I look forward to figuring out how to post pics so maybe you guys can tell me!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting and chatting about cats with you all.

Welcome to the site! OMG, Moses is SO CUTE! What a precious little boy!

You did everything right for posting pictures, but unfortunately Imagestation doesn't allow remote viewing anymore, at least I don't think it does (but if you go to the Properties of the image and paste the address in the browser, you can still see it. You can see it because if you've already brought the image up in the browser it will show here. Imagestation is wierd.). There's a few places that do offer free accounts and remote viewing. Personally, I use www.photobucket.com and if you've figured out Imagestation you can work Photobucket. It's essentially the same setup.

ETA: Wow, Tiger is a very handsome boy too!!

Can I just say this little guy doesn't know a stranger?! He gets along with everyone in the house, plays with the dog, can't sleep without cuddling with someone. He was dumped with his sister at my dog Jake's daycare and they kept them in a big dog crate for a week. Friday afternoon (2 weeks ago) when I picked Jake up the crate was gone and I asked about the kitties. The girl had been taken and he was left. I played with them earlier in the week and he stole my heart. I couldn't bear the thought of him being left in that crate alone without his sister, so I brought him home "on a trial basis" (yeah, right!) He made himself right at home and he's just been great. He came with a little ear infection, but that's all cleared up now. I'm a bit concerned about gooey eyes. My vet says it's no big deal, but I've been researching to see if we can't clear that up with a diet change... and that's how I found you guys!

We got Tiger from an add in the paper. A nice lady found a momma cat with three kittens. The mom was sick and couldn't nurse the babies so this lady brought the mom to the vet and bottle fed the babies until they were about 9 weeks old. Tiger was the last kitty left when we got there. He's really my daughter's cat. They have an attachment like I have never seen between an animal and a human. I really didn't like cats all that much until Tiger. He's won many a 'dog-person' over with his awesome personality. What's wierd about Tiger is that there are seveal people in my family who are terribly allergic to cats, but not allergic to Tiger... at all. One of my aunts was able to pet/hold/play with a cat for the first time since she can remember. It's puzzling, but great!

And those are my boys! I'll get some more pics onto photobucket when I get home from work. I'm already LOVING it here! Thanks again for the welcome!
