Somehow I expected Tiger to be a tabby! I wonder if Patches is part Maine Coon?
Hmm... You know what... Patches might be
part main coon because she more fur than Tiger her sister
. What a cool dream Tricia
. I love dreams like that. I wish cats would speak "humanspeak:. But, I guess meowing is their way of talking to us

Thanks Rigel buddy

That's very flattering, Rigel, seeing as I'm learning by "trial and error" how to work with photo software. Sandra was kind enough to send me some "raw material" to play around with, and to actually use the results.

This is a (scanned) portrait of M. le Duc, a Maine Coon, painted by his meowmy. I see a definite resemblance to Patches!

Isn't it? This woman is incredibly talented. She translates books from German into French (her native language) as a living, but also illustrates greeting cards, and practices her English by writing emails to Jamie from two of his brothers, whom she kept. Plus, she's an active member of a cat rescue organization.

She sends him Christmas and birthday presents, too, and the two of us have an ongoing dialogue about cat food, allergies, translation problems (we jointly managed to translate the users' instructions for the Drinkwell fountain from English to German to French, although my French is basically nonexistent). We met each other through her daughter, who was never my student, but attended the school I teach at - for some reason, I hit it off with the daughter, and when I met her mother, we just "clicked", because we're members of the same rescue organization (which I got "roped into" by another Frenchwoman). It's a small world.

Hiya Sandra!

I cropped the white around the edge a bit - I hope you don't mind! I think it looks a bit better now, however you did a wonderful job!
Both of you!!
