I have not had a donut in like 6 months. But because of this thread, and a pic in fur pics of a kitty begging for a plate of delish looking donuts, I think I am going to have to go get some.....

... Krispy Kreme is the best and Dunkin Donuts is a very close second
it's been a long time since i've had a decent donut. i've always like dunkin donuts because we never had krispy kreme when i was growing up. they finally put one in less than a year before i moved to japan with my husband. they just don't make donuts like that over here, i guess. i could really go for one of those still warm glazed ones though....
Any chocolate cream sticks left???

My mum wont buy doughnuts unless its got cream in them, but we havent found them ever since!
all we have here are normal doughnuts with icing or berliners the closed doughnuts filled with jam and covered in sugar!

Bit of trivia: the company was founded in North Carolina in 1937 and for almost 60 years you found Krispy Kreme Donuts only in the South.
I had to pass a KK store on the way to the apt my mom lived in until recently. It took HUGE amounts of willpower to not stop when the "Hot Doughtnuts Now" sign was on!

There were 5 left when we left the office last night....
I just opened the fridge and they have all gone!!! No box, nothing!!!
We expect the culprit was the night security guard as it would not be the first time he has eaten our food from up here
