I have a neighbor, who when they moved in a few years ago, they had around 3 cats. They didnt spay or neuter them, and kept them outdoors, and you can guess what happened. They mated, and you know how fast cats can multiply,so now there are a bunch. They get into the garbage,go pee and poop in peoples yards/flowers,and spray wherever they can.Since they regularly get in peoples garbage, and swarm when they see food,it makes me think that they arent fed.
The reason I am writing this post,is that now one of the cats eyes has gone bad.Something happened to her.Its caved in now,and is shriveling. The white of the eye has turned red/pink,and the center is turning white/milky blue. She used to have two normal eyes, and I dont know if it was punctured or got scratched out.Its been a while now,and I would imagine if it had seen a vet,the vet would have possibly removed the eye/stitched it shut.
There is something else bad too, maybe I'll go into it one day.

I dont know what to do.There arent any rules about cats in this town. Also there is no animal control. What do you think I should do.I dont know if I should but in,or mind my own business.I hate confrontation

I wonder what the legality of providing medical care is.

I can just see this getting more and more out of control.

There's no place like home
Just because there isn't animal control in your area doesn't mean that there aren't rescue groups out there that can help your situation. Can you share where you live?

I think you should definetly get that cat care NOW. It may be suffering, and it sounds like the eye may indeed have been scratched. You should also try and find organizations that can trap, spay/neuter, and release. The cat population needs to go down, and you can stop more needless kitten births, and more pointedly, kitten deaths. No kitten deserves to be born into such sorry conditions, with no home to go to. Please consider finding a place to get them checked, as soon as you can.
