is she an abyssinian cross? (or other breed?)

here are some pics of my new kitty. She looks a little unusual. The woman at the shelter said she might be part abyssinian. Her ears also intrigue me... she has that little bit of hair at the end of the ears that make them look pointy. And her coloring looks like that of a bobcat. She really looks like a wild cat.

Her coloring doesn't show very well on these pictures... but from what I found online she might be a cinnamon tabby.

Any opinions as to what breed(s) of cat could be in her?

Well.......

The short answer is no...

The long answer is very very long, but it doesn't really matter because you've a beautiful baby there!

No, she doesn't look like an abyssinian. Not that she couldn't be part one, as mixed breed might look differently, but then, using that logic, she could be part any breed. She is a very good looking domestic short hair cat.

I'd think she would more likely have some Bengal in her, than Aby. She's a cute kitty.

ah well, instead I'll just tell people that she's a cross between a house cat and an african wild cat.

I like that. She is beautiful no matter what.

Oh I love her coloring! She has such a short tail though!! Or maybe my cats just have long tails?? Aerowyn's tail I can pull under her and it will poke out of her chest easily... :P

The ear tufts and the shorter tail remind me more of a pixie bob than a bengal. Cutie, whatever it is!

Well i dont think its a cinnamon tabby... my aunt has one of thoes and it looks different... though it could be a mixed cinnamon tabby and a abyssinian... but im not really sure... sorry
