I am Green.
Then Blue
Then Orange
Then Gold

They say the 1st color is your primary color or the type of personality you are primarily, and the last color is your shadow color or that which will be the biggest challenge to you, and that you struggle to deal with and understand the people in that color mode.

I did this years ago... I'm still a Green by a landslide.

My order is Green, Blue, Orange and Gold. Blue and Orange were separated by 1 point, so fairly close between those two. The Gold score was very low.

My mentor is also a Green and we have great philosophical converations that can go on for hours.

The instructor did this with us to show us what we'ew like and to help us learn how to recognize and interact with our students who are different colors.

He says that most children are either orange or green.

Green may
see self as:

Superior intellect

98% right

Tough-minded

Efficient

Powerful

Creative, visionary

Original, unique

Eminently reasonable

Rational

Calm, not emotional

Under control

Precise, not repetitive

Able to
find flaws

Objective

Task, goal focus

Holding firm to policy

Seeking justice

Assuming things will
be well
done

Great
planner

Firm-
minded, able to reprimand

\t
Others may
see green as:

Intellectual snob

Arrogant

Heartless

Doesn't care about people

Ruthless

Unrealistic

Eccentric,
weird

Emotionally controlled

Ignores people values

Cool, aloof, unfeeling

Afraid to
open up

Covers subject from all angles

Critical, fault finding

Not on my
side

Devaluing relational aspects

Having limited ability to see obvious differences

Lacking
mercy, unfair

Unapprecia-tive, stingy
with praise

Nasty,
hatchet man

Doesn't consider
people in
plans

I don't see myself as ALL of this. I don't think I'm Powerful or Hardhearted, and I'm not always under control, but I do see a lot of me in this. I also see quite a bit of me in Orange, and some of me in Blue, but I have to say, I don't see one single personality trait in me, that is even close to Gold, but I do know people who fit the Gold traits a right down to the smallest detail, and I do have a hard time getting along with them.

Yeah, it's kind of strange because I'm a Green and also an INFP... which is quite different in comparison. I actually did the Myers Briggs assessment again today (for the umpteenth time!), thanks in part to Bobbie's interesting choice for a thread!

It's the Myers Briggs personality assessment... People often take it in college to determine which career path would best suit them. You can find a number of tests on the internet.

INFP stands for Introverted, INtuitive, Feeling, Perceiving. The opposite would be Extraverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging. It's interesting stuff, and my Myers Briggs type hasn't changed in over 10 years.

Green/Gold tied at 14

then Orange at 12

and Finally blue at 11

I have always been a green/gold/orange... we took these tests in english junior year...

The teacher gave us all a piece of paper and we brought colored pencils.. we were told that in the picture we had to draw a cube, a horse, a ladder, flowers, and a tornado...

I drew a desert with rocky different colored cliffs in the background, out in the top right hand corner area there was a tornado..

And a blue cube wearing a cowboy hat was sitting on a horse which was standing in a field of flowers, the ladder was strapped to the side of the horse...

:p It said I was green/gold.. not practical at all.. that confused me.. because my picture looked pretty practical to me ...
