Sexing of kittens

Just a thought we havent yet visited our kittens at the shelter but they are being held for us and for them to mature to 12 weeks. Anyways they say their males but sometimes even the shelters make mistakes. I was wondering what are some sure fire ways to tell the sex of a young kitten ranging fomr 9-12 weeks of age? Just to make sure we're getting to males. Not that I could'nt deal with owning a female kitten their great too. But i enjoy males cats personalities better and their size. Anyways if you know please tell me.
