My 5 month old kitten has been home for almost a month. She has a terrible case of gas that is ongoing. She eats Innova dry cat food...its high grade and for all age groups. She also has an occasional can of Iams kitten wet food. Perhaps I should feed her this more regularly?? I think she has had enough time to adjust to the food. Any ideas to help her feel better would be appreciated. Maybe some home remedies or other food recommendations?

My first guess may be parasites or coccidia. If the vet has not checked the stool, I would go that route first.
Second is that not all cats tolerate the same foods. It could just be that the brand of food does not agree with the digestive system or it could be the wet food. Wet food tends to give more gas than they dry. Even though it's a high quality food, they do not all have the same ingredients.
