What cute bunnies and pretty birds!

This is Mr. Kickers, my mini-lop bunny who I adopted just after Easter in 1999 (he was a discarded "Easter bunny"... grrr). He wasn't an albino -- he had a bit of gray on his nose, so his eyes were deep, dark brown. Beautiful & sweet!

Mr. Kickers went to the Rainbow Bridge in July 2001. We miss him lots. Especially his momma.

I couldn't imagine life without him, either, which is why it hurt so bad when he died. Mini-lops have such great personalities, I really had no idea!!! He was comical & sweet, a smart little guy. The way he'd stretch out on his belly on the tile floor, legs thrust behind him, all pancaked out like that to cool off... it was so sweet.

And I'll never forget, before he was neutered, how he mounted my cat Zorro as Zorro stood looking out the front patio door. Zorro & Kickers were buddies... Zorro just turned around and gave him this "what on earth do you think yer doing" kinda stare. I miss him lots.

This post made me laugh because we have two cats, a bun, and we will be buying a cockatiel next spring! I'm glad to know we're not the only ones with lots of different species! We even have two fish tanks.

Those are great pictures by the way. What gorgeous birds! The bunny is too cute. Mini-lops have to be some of the cutest animals ever created.
