My Kitten, Princess Leia, is now 11 weeks old. (WOW has it been that long) Is she still considered a Kitten? I think so. I wanted to let everyone know she is doing OK. She is in what I consider her "Terrible Twos" now. She is on or in everything. Still working on pics. This is the busy time in my job so have not had much time to get on computer.

Anyways, I did have a question. Is it ok to let her use clumping litter. I have not seen her try to eat her litter in weeks but She is not in my site 24-7 so ???? What do you think?

Also, So far we have been keeping her in her kitty condo when we are not home or at bedtime. What age do you think it is safe to start leaving her the run of the house? Will she share a litter box with Luke or should she have her own? They play together sometimes but He is so big and she is so little. I am a little concerned about leaving them out together but My husband is ready to have the house back to normal. Thoughts?

I wish I could show you all when they play the gofer game. It is sooo funny. Leia pops her head out of her hiding hole and Luke bops her on the head. I can't figure out which one likes the game more. Luke trying to get her or Leia trying to pop back in then jump back out in time to surprise him.

Cats are considered kittens until age 1, so yes, she is still a kitten.

I don't see why not... Mirah and Annie are 9 weeks old as of Saturday, and I give them clumping litter. I don't see why not, since she is that old.

As long as everything is kitty proof, I don't see why she couldn't come out, but if you aren't sure, I would leave her up til she gone, and you must make sure she's okay with her new roomate, too.

Will she share a litter box with Luke or should she have her own?
She will probably share a litterbox, but it's reccommended to have 1 litterbox per cat. You will find that they use one for peeing and one for pooing. Strange, eh? Or, sometimes, one will use one, and the other use the other.

If you aren't sure, I wouldn't leave them alone when you are leaving or during the night until she is old and big enough to defend and protect herself.

Hope that helps ya! Good luck!
