Is he too fat?

Is it possible for a 4 month old kitten to be too fat? He downed 6 pounds of dry food in 2 weeks and he looks a little chuncky around the midsection. I just thought that it is a good thing he is putting on weight but with the way he looks right now, i'm becoming concerned.

Looking at that chart, he looks like a 5.4....a little over 5 but a lot less than 7. Thnx for the help!
