I just want to know what happened.

My indoor cat Mitsey ran out of my parent's house 5 days ago.. they are remodeling their house so she probably got scared. If she goes outside, she always comes back within ten minutes. She just likes to eat the grass..she never came back and she just turned 13. Does anyone know what may have happened to her? Has anyone heard of indoor cats leaving their house to die outside? She seemed like she was in fine health, although she can't jump very high anymore and she has had a couple of accidents out of the litter box. I am incredibly upset..

I wish I could help, but I don't know. My cats are totally indoors and HATE the outside. I will be praying for her safe return.
Have you tired searching the neighborhood or calling people on the street?
It doesn't seem like the kitty would have gone too far.

My Daughters cat has been missing also for about 3 days, I am just sick about it, I told her to go out every 15 minutes and call her,walk around the block pput posters up, I will still be out there 3 days later crying my butt off, she's a sweet little girl named Maranda,
My daughter had one some years back that was gone for week and came back,I hope your kitty and Maranda find there way home.
So don't give up like Hissy said just keep calling and looking for her, you are in my thoughts and prayers

Just to give you hope - I recently found a cat, Himalayan, that was in terrible shape. The vet said that she was obviously an inside cat that wound up on her own for a very, very long time. So, even though she couldn't find her home, she was able to find some nice people to help her. I, too, will be praying that Mitsey & Maranda find some good souls who will help them get safely home to you!!! Please keep us posted, MitseyMoochi & halfpint!! Just to give you some hope, my smokey was missing from June to Nov. He came back home 3 day's prior to my birthday... I tell him he now only has 8 lives.....

I am so happy for you. I bet that you were thrilled to see your darling.
