1. Do you ever wear a rain coat when it rains? Nope, i love the rain!

2. Do you rollerskate? Ohh I love to do that but its been so long!

3. Do you clean the outside of your windows once a year, more than that or less than that? Oops, never!

4. Do your kits meow when they want something? Of course!

5. Have you ever played golf? Yes and I hate it, its toooo boring for my short attention span!

6. Do you use a calculator when at a grocery store, or just kind of add it in your head as you go? Nope - I leave that to Jake!

7. Do you have any nervous habits, such as biting your nails, etc?\\ yes I bite my nails!

8. If possible, do you see/call your parents at least once a week? Yes every weekend we talk on MSN

9. Are you comfortable in a bathing suit in public? If its at a friends pool, fine, but in a public place, not really but i just grin and bear it.

10. Have you ever worked as a waitress or waiter? Nope

11. When do you start thinking about Christmas gift buying? Oh dont ask!

12. What wakes you up in the morning? Kahu! He pulls the blankets off us because he wants his wet food treats!

13. Do you have any chipmunks where you live? Yessss, I love them, we almost ran one over. No scratch that, we did run over one last sunday - we were driving along and we saw something on the road and it was too late and it went between the tyres and when we looked back, it ran off to the side of the road! That must have been freaky for it!

14. Do you speak with your neighbors? Theres no neighbours now, yay! Its sooo quiet and peaceful!

15. Do you grill food outside much? Oh yes, I love my food cooked on charcoal!

16. What color is your bedspread? Blue - its a maritime themed quilt

17. What nationality is/were your grandparents? My poppa is from England, My granny is 100% kiwi, my grandad is unknown - not even my dad knows, my nana was Maori.

18. Do you wear contacts, glasses or nothing? I wear glasses when needed - my eyes go blurry when I am tired.

19. If we were all meeting for a big TCS picnic today, what is your favorite specialty dish that you would bring for us?? Pavlova!!!!

20. Any special vibes needed for this upcoming week? That my sunburn heals from yesterdays Dukesfest - I MET JOHN SCHNEIDER!!!

i clean the inside and outside about once a month

6. Do you use a calculator when at a grocery store, or just kind of add it in your head as you go? add it in my head as i go, but if we are at walmat and shopping with my bf we lose track of the bill

7. Do you have any nervous habits, such as biting your nails, etc?\\ yes but now i let my nails grow long finally, and i dont bite them lke i used to, ever since i got my braces its been harder biting my nails

8. If possible, do you see/call your parents at least once a week? I see my parents every two weeks, and i usually talk to them everyday through fax

9. Are you comfortable in a bathing suit in public? no, but my bf says its okay??

10. Have you ever worked as a waitress or waiter? yes and never going to be again unless i really need the money

18. Do you wear contacts, glasses or nothing? I actually have glasses but i never wear them (im really bad) and i have been considering of wearing contacts but i cant put the damn things in my eyes!

19. If we were all meeting for a big TCS picnic today, what is your favorite specialty dish that you would bring for us?? cheese cake (the germanised one) and hmm... 2 minute steaks with krauter rahm sauce with oven potatoes!

20. Any special vibes needed for this upcoming week? Yes im off to hospital tonight for my nose.

3. Do you clean the outside of your windows once a year, more than that or less than that? I don't ever do it. I would look pretty strange cleaning the outside of my windows at my apartment complex. I think they send someone to do it for us once a year maybe?

4. Do your kits meow when they want something? Oh goodness yes! Waffle hardly STOPS meowing!!!

5. Have you ever played golf? Sure haven't. Kind of funny since Daytona Beach has the LPGA and all of that so it was always very near me growing up. I've only played minigolf though. I don't think I have the patience for golf.

6. Do you use a calculator when at a grocery store, or just kind of add it in your head as you go? Add it in my head when I'm worried about it.

7. Do you have any nervous habits, such as biting your nails, etc?\\ I'm a really fidgety person. I can never sit still. I used to bite and pick at my nails all the time but Brendan has done a good job of breaking me of that.

8. If possible, do you see/call your parents at least once a week? I talk to my mom a few times a week, my grandma a few times a week, my dad once a week probably (he's usually not home when I call), and my brother once every other week. Usually can't see them weekly though.

9. Are you comfortable in a bathing suit in public? Oh honey if a bathing suit could be my regular outfit I'd be fine with it. I adore bathing suits.

10. Have you ever worked as a waitress or waiter? No way. I think I would end up pouring drinks on people.

11. When do you start thinking about Christmas gift buying? Usually in October.

12. What wakes you up in the morning? The sun or Waffle usually.

13. Do you have any chipmunks where you live? Not that I know of.

14. Do you speak with your neighbors? Only to say hi if we're passing through the apartment halls. My neighbors next to me and across are a bunch of guys, and the ones next to me are obnoxious so I try to avoid them.

15. Do you grill food outside much? We do at Brendan's house. I loooooooove food on the grill!!!!!!!!

16. What color is your bedspread? Red and gold with a bit of purple.

17. What nationality is/were your grandparents? Cherokee Indian, Welsh, and Polish mainly.

1. Do you ever wear a rain coat when it rains? No, don't have a raincoat. Don't have an umbrella either.

2. Do you rollerskate? Absolutely not.

4. Do your kits meow when they want something? oh, yes! At 5:30 am Aristotle was meowing for breakfast.

5. Have you ever played golf? No - have no desire to. and there are 3 golf courses with a mile of me!

7. Do you have any nervous habits, such as biting your nails, etc? I somtimes start twirling my cane or bounce it on it's rubber tip.

11. When do you start thinking about Christmas gift buying? Depends - in fact I found several cat related items and got them in anticipation for the TCS gift exchange - if we have one.

16. What color is your bedspread? I have two - one is burgundy red on one side and a complimentary plaid on the other and there is the green/black one.

19. If we were all meeting for a big TCS picnic today, what is your favorite specialty dish that you would bring for us?? I'd bring this potato salad using sis' recipe, and her lemon bars, and I'd fix what they call Texas Sheetcake - chocolate and not low in fat!

20. Any special vibes needed for this upcoming week? Yes, send vibes that some of daylilies will be in bloom for the show this Sunday! We've been too cool and the daylilies like it warmer.

2. Do you rollerskate? Not since I was about 12

3. Do you clean the outside of your windows once a year, more than that or less than that? Less, but in my defense I live in a second floor apartment and it's not easy!
4. Do your kits meow when they want something? I'll let you know when I get them home!

5. Have you ever played golf? Yeah, I was awful but I loved it!

7. Do you have any nervous habits, such as biting your nails, etc? I tend to bite my lips, which is why I never wear lipstick, I'd end up looking like a clown!

8. If possible, do you see/call your parents at least once a week? I see my dad at least twice a week, and text or call inbetween. Haven't seen my mother in over 10 years (which is the way I like it (long story!))

16. What color is your bedspread? Light brown/cream. I'm awful with colour matching, so everything is neutral colours like cream!

This time of year probably a black bean salad with fresh corn stripped from the cob, fresh diced tomatoes, green onions with cilantro/cumin vinigrette if side. Grilled salmon with fresh taragon butter if main dish. Balsamic strawberries with grilled poundcake and ginger whipped cream if desert.

4. Do your kits meow when they want something? Charley wouldn't shut up until you gave her whatever she wanted

5. Have you ever played golf? I played a few times years ago - I liked it, but wasn't very good, in fact I was awful at it

6. Do you use a calculator when at a grocery store, or just kind of add it in your head as you go? I just pay whatever the cashier tells me I have to pay when I get to the till!!!

When it comes to Christmas or birthdays I then have a pile of stuff to pick from. Sometime I have a particular person in mind when I buy things, otherwise all I have to do is decide who gets what! SO much better than shopping under pressure on Christmas Eve

12. What wakes you up in the morning? Usually my alarm clock

13. Do you have any chipmunks where you live? No. I don't think we have chipmunks in Switzerland.

14. Do you speak with your neighbors? Yes - whenever we cross each other outside the house or sometimes if we're invited round for drinks!

15. Do you grill food outside much? We grill a lot in summer and even if we don't grill, we tend to sit out on the terrace as often as possible to enjoy the view and the weather.

16. What color is your bedspread? My favourite quilt cover is pink and white.

17. What nationality is/were your grandparents? All my grandparents were from Ireland, although some of their families were from Scotland. 3 of them died before I was born, so I didn't know them. My gran died just a few years back.

18. Do you wear contacts, glasses or nothing? I wear contacts if I'm going out at night or doing sports. Otherwise I wear glasses.

12. What wakes you up in the morning? PAWS IN MY FACE OR TONGUES CLEANING IT. LOL... USUALLY MY MOM, TOO.

14. Do you speak with your neighbors? WELL.... MY SISTER AND GRANDPA ARE MY NEIGHBORS... SO YEAH. I HAVE TALKED WITH OUR OTHER NEIGHBORS, BUT NOT A LOT.

15. Do you grill food outside much? YEAH... MY DAD LOVES TO GRILL!!!

16. What color is your bedspread? LAVENDER, LIGHT GREEN, LITTLE BIT O' PINK, DARK PURPLE.... BUNCH OF COLORS.

17. What nationality is/were your grandparents? ON MY MOM'S SIDE, MY GRANDMA WAS HALF DUTCH, AND MY GRANDPA IS HALF GERMAN... ON MY DAD'S SIDE.... NO FLIPPIN CLUE. LOL!

18. Do you wear contacts, glasses or nothing? NOTHING.

19. If we were all meeting for a big TCS picnic today, what is your favorite specialty dish that you would bring for us?? HOME MADE ENCHILADAD PIE FROM MY MOM.... MMMMMMMM

1. Do you ever wear a rain coat when it rains? Well, not a rain coat specifically, but a coat or jumper!

2. Do you rollerskate? I can rollerblade, but not since my knee has been injured!

3. Do you clean the outside of your windows once a year, more than that or less than that? I clean them when I can - I just couldn't do them at the flat!

4. Do your kits meow when they want something? Tibby meows constantly - and he always wants something!

Molly will tell me quietly in my ear!

5. Have you ever played golf? Numerous people have tried to teach me - as they play! But I have never played it properly, as the golf clubs are SO expensive!

6. Do you use a calculator when at a grocery store, or just kind of add it in your head as you go? I used to use the calculator on my phone, now I just shop until I have everything on my list! (it's quicker and saves me from ending up in a LOT of pain!)

7. Do you have any nervous habits, such as biting your nails, etc?\\I chew my sleeves!

I am also sick, but I wouldn't say that was a habbit, just more of a reaction!

8. If possible, do you see/call your parents at least once a week? I call my Mum and Dad all the time! I love chatting to them and finding out all the gossip!

9. Are you comfortable in a bathing suit in public? I am very comfortable in bikinis! I am a bit of an exhibitionist really!

10. Have you ever worked as a waitress or waiter? I have waited on, but I was actually a barmaid and it was just a part of the shifts I was working!

11. When do you start thinking about Christmas gift buying? Don't laugh, but I already have some! It actually prevents the panic at the end and you always have some good things! Spreads the cost too!

Nope! Only Alvin and his brothers, on the TV!

14. Do you speak with your neighbors? I speak to my neighbours whn I see them, but I actually became aquainted - by name - with one today! She's lovely!

17. What nationality is/were your grandparents? My Grandad was from the UK and my Nana was essentially English, byut was born and grew up in India!

19. If we were all meeting for a big TCS picnic today, what is your favorite specialty dish that you would bring for us?? I would have to bring some hard boiled eggs! I don't think a picnic is a picnic without them!

20. Any special vibes needed for this upcoming week? Only to get my exhibition up and sorted! I'm just hoping - so much - that I can get it all done by Tuesday!

7. Do you have any nervous habits, such as biting your nails, etc? I used to bite my nails until they bled. I bite the sides of my nails and crack my knuckles.

8. If possible, do you see/call your parents at least once a week? Yes. Unfortunately I can't see or call my dad but I normally talk to my mom online every day or so. I also see my grandmother a lot.

9. Are you comfortable in a bathing suit in public? No but I'll wear it anyway.

18. Do you wear contacts, glasses or nothing? I have both glasses and contacts but mostly wear contacts. I could't live without them. I have horrible eye sight. The prescription for my contacts is -5.0 last time I had them checked which was a few years ago. YIKES!

20. Any special vibes needed for this upcoming week? I need to reregister my car. It expired in May but I have to find my birth certificate to do so. Keep your fingers crossed that I don't get in trouble before I get a chance to.

2. Do you rollerskate? Oh yeah, I'm the roller queen baby! Why are other mothers so afraid of getting out there???

3. Do you clean the outside of your windows once a year, more than that or less than that? well more than once, I don't have many windows so I like to keep them very clean to see the sun shining in.

4. Do your kits meow when they want something? Uh yeah, 2 of them have their own language.

12. What wakes you up in the morning? A lovely, beautiful long-haired chocolate colored cat named Snickers. He sleeps by my chest and when the birds start chirping... he nibbles my cheeks and lets me know it's "feeding time". (I do set an alarm but over the past months realize I do not need it)

13. Do you have any chipmunks where you live? Yeah, too many. They are evil little monsters, but they provide entertainment for 6 cats.

14. Do you speak with your neighbors? Yeah, the neighbors on one side of me are good friends. The neighbors on the other side, I certainly speak with, but I think they threw holy water on my yard the other night (they're a minister & minister's wife). So that sucks.

16. What color is your bedspread? Antique Gold, this velvet thing I bought from eBay; mainly for my cat's comfort.

17. What nationality is/were your grandparents? IRISH and GERMAN. Best of both worlds.

18. Do you wear contacts, glasses or nothing? Nothing now. I used to wear contacts but had LASIK surgery almost 2 yrs ago. It's all good!

1. Do you ever wear a rain coat when it rains?

I own an all-weather type coat that I wear maybe once a year. If I suspect it might rain, I usually have a nylon jacket with me -- except in summer, when I figure I'm not sugar and won't melt, so I don't bother.

2. Do you rollerskate?

Not since I was a kid -- remember the kind that attached to your shoes with clamps that you used a key to tighten? -- them.

3. Do you clean the outside of your windows once a year, more than that or less than that?

Our regular house cleaners do it on a rotation basis. I haven't washed a window in years.

4. Do your kits meow when they want something?

Depends what they want and how urgently, it's one of the ways they seek our attention.

Don't think I've even held a golf club. It's something I wouldn't mind taking up sometime, though.

Neither. I do pay attention to things that will bump the total up, but don't try to have any pre-determined total in my head. I think the shopping application on my PDA which keeps all my lists for me has the capability to do that, but I haven't bothered to set it up.

Not that I can think of.

There's only my Dad. I see him three or four times a week. Rob talks to his Mum (and I join in sometimes if I'm around) about once a week, and we try to get over (to Vancouver Island) every few weeks to see her.

Nope. Too much upholstery.

When the first thing suggests itself for someone, or late November, whichever comes first.

If I need to be wakened, it's the alarm. Usually, I'm awake when the radio comes on, ten minutes before the alarm.

Some, but they're not anything like as plentiful as squirrels, which are EVERYwhere. (Not complaining! I love the little devils.)

Occasionally. We're not close (socially) with any of them, but a word in passing isn't unusual.

Once the weather is nice enough to leave the door open, the back porch becomes an extension of the kitchen. I BBQ two or three times a week or more, except during rainy spells, such as right now.

The comforter that serves as bedspread is a grey/beige/blue/white diamond pattern -- you've seen it lots of times as background in Cindy pics

17. What nationality is/were your grandparents?

All of my grandparents were Brits. My Mum's family came to Canada when she was seven; my Dad was born here.

Assuming I want to see anything, glasses.

I think I'd do a stuffed pork tenderloin, which is wonderful picnic party food, and best at room temperature, so can be done ahead.
