I need a name for my new kitten.

Hello everyone,

I will be adding a new addition to the family (blue persian) he is 8 weeks old, and will not be here for another 4 weeks. I need a name for him.

The only names I have come up with so far are:

Cole
Ash

Any ideas would be greatly appreciate!

There are several threads on here suggesting names... once we get a photo I'm sure we'll be able to pick one, but in the meantime have a look at those posts?

I had a cat named Ashley once, called her Ashee

Have a look at baby name sites, too. That's how we came up with the name "Mika"... we used it because it means "Wise Little Raccoon"... suits him perfectly! When we finally do register him, we're going to call him "Galloping Raccoon" instead... because man, does he like to gallop through the house!

I like names that mean something rather than picked for the color of the cat. The baby names sites are a good place to do that because they give you the meanings. Take a gander at BabyNames.com . I've linked the first database page with names starting with A, but use the letters at the top to navigate to other letters.
