Need help with a translation

The text actually starts out with a play on words, "Gelegenheit macht Liebe", literally, "Opportunity creates love". The text is all about companies trying to forbid employees' dating each other. Can anybody suggest English expressions that capture the gist of the message?

The first thing that came to my mind is the famous PT Barnum quote, "There's a sucker born every minute."

I also thought of this one: 'I wouldn't trust him as far as I could pick him up and throw him.' It also sends the same message, to me.
