Today, June 3rd, on ABC's 20/20 there is supposed to be an indepth segment on Animal Related orgs. Focusing on legislation, corruption, and such. If you can, tune in and see a different side of some of these organizations.

MUST SEE ABC'S 20/20 JUNE 3RD - THIS FRIDAY'S EXPOSE'

See how animal rescuers steal prize animals from breeders - then accuse them falsely of animal cruelty. They sell the stolen animals immediately and keep the money saying they are abused and neglected.

Three year investigation into the sloppy incompetence of SPCA/Humane Societies. Judges - DAs - City Attorneys - Police - Sheriffs - Constables - and our Legislators go along with it. Are they in it too?

Lives are devastated. Suicide - Jail - Savings Depleted. We've all been fooled into donating to these groups. They kill and put the pets to sleep.

PLEASE DON'T FAIL TO WATCH
ABC 20/20 FRIDAY JUNE 3RD
EST 10 PM ~ CENTRAL 9 PM ~ PST 10 PM

SPREAD THE WORD.

I missed it! I turned it on too late, about 20 minutes left of the program and they had moved on to a different story. That one would have been interesting. I'm not a fan of Stossel for his God-awful research and reporting skills, but I don't want to discount him off-hand either. It's amazing some of the things that go on in the animal world- like the horsing community controversies.

Edited to say: wow! I wished I had watched this after reading the message boards. I am curious if the breeders they were showing were actually puppy-mill owners. According to some of the message board posters a couple of the people who had their animals taken away were notorius puppy-mill owners.

I watched it (I was bottle feeding) It seemed rather biased and nebulous to me, but then I had my hand's full at the time

I'm not surprised at the bias...I've grown quite cynical of the various news agencies I suppose.

What I really hope is that some of the public outcry on the evident bias, encourages a more indepts [and fairer!] investigation. The only thing I get from reading the text summary, is that there are indeed clear cases of abuse of power in various SPCAs nationwide [surprise]

Here hoping the news orgs will someday get back to reporting facts and letting their readers/viewers interpret them.
