my cat Nyda is very picky on what water he drinks, he will not drink from a bowl of water. he started this a few years ago. I'm not sure what made him do this, i've always kept his water clean. I've tried a couple of the differnt types of the running water bowls, but he much prefers a dripping bath tub foccet over anything else. This doesn't bug me, i'm happy to leave the bath tub dripping for him. I'm just wondering if anyone else has a cat like this.

My two have fresh water in their bowl twice a day which they do drink from, but they still love a running tap!.

It's part of a routine in the morning when i go in the bathroom to shower, where Sophie will jump in the bath waiting for me to turn the tap on, but Rosie prefers the kitchen tap

Have you tried a pet fountain? Great for cats that like fresh running water!!

Dexter loves running faucet water. I just bought him a Drinkwell fountain. So far he just looks at it. My hope it that he will learn to drink from it.

I recently bought a Petm@te fountain. I hoped to interest Chesty in drinking from it instead of from the dripping bathtub faucet, or, worse, from the little puddles left right after I take a shower. All three seem to like it, though I still leave a bowl of water out, changed twice a day. Ziv is the only one I've seen drink from the bowl. But, though Chesty likes the fountain, he continues his routine of drinking from the bathtub, and now Ziv does so, too. Oh well.

Dushka always jumps up to the kitchen tap right after breakfast and asks me to turn it on for her so she can drink. Now Persil has learned what to do too, though she does not do it regularly like Dushka does. Ellie prefers to drink her goats milk - she almost never drinks plain water!

Our cat Darla meows and races me to the bathroom to drink from tub faucet. She will not drink from a bowl at all, but will sample soapy dish water. I don't know what goes on in her head. I considered getting a fountain, but I know she would still rather drink from the tub, so I won't bother.

I second the pet fountain, Panda even likes to stick his head under the flowing water:lol3: I tried the cheaper models before but they hated the pump noise, I now have a ceramic Drinkwell Avalon fountain and I'm super happy with it.
