Hey Guys!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend! My hubby Shy and I went out to Bristol Caverns for a little adventure this weekend. Most of the pics I took inside the Cavern didn't turn out
The pics that did turn out, turned out pretty cool so I thought you guys might like to see them. Feel free to post your pics from this weekend, too!










It looks squishy doesn't it?
It was actually solid and smooth.



This is what most of the "ceiling" looked like.



My husband Shy. You can't tell, but he's miserable. He HATES taking photos




This is nearby South Holston Lake, about 10 min. from our house. We will be spending MANY weekends here this summer!!!

Shy looks like he is enjoying himself.
The cieling looks like something off the set of an Aliens Movie!

The whole inside had a surreal/alien planet feel! There was a river running through it on the bottom level! None of those pics turned out but it was so awesome! It was kinda scary because some openings/crevices weren't lit. I half expected Gollum to pop out from somewhere

Yes, it is a gorgeous lake, Steph. But-----it's still not the beach!!!! lol!! Lucky dog!!!!

The 2 white lines you see in the top of this pic is light pouring in from a hole on the surface

That's a really dark pic, but it must have been cool to see that while you were in there.

oo i was in a cave in australia but it was just all water drops like that! it was so awsome!
its along the Great ocean road

That lake looks lovely, atleast you have a lake and sea..
WE HAVE NOTHING EXCEPT FOR POOL


I am so goign to make the best of it in sicily!

those pics are soo cool.
Here in MÃ[emoji]169[/emoji]xico and I´m proud to say this, you can find only a similar "caves" in my state, yucatán, we called "Grutes"
some of they have water like a undergrown lake!

But..I not see you in any pic!...

Oh it's a great lake to swim in! The water is very clean and surprisingly clear. The shores are mainly clay instead of dirt/mud so the water stays really clean. It's a 7,580 acre lake! The crazy thing is, I used to come here camping with my best friend Paula's family when I was younger!! I had NO idea I would be living 10 min away from there

Ooooh I've seen the "grutes" on the travel channel!!!! People were repelling (sp?) down into them! I'd love to try that!
